Published 04/09/25 Finding free parking on the Las Vegas Strip can be a bit of a challenge, as many hotels and casinos have introduced parking fees in recent years. However, there are still some spots where you can park for free. Here’s our guide to the best places to park without paying on the Strip. We think of the Strip going from Sahara to Mandalay Bay. We also divide it up into four parts. The southern part of the Strip from Mandalay Bay to MGM Grand. The central part is from MGM Grand to the Flamingo. The northern part is from the Flamingo to the Encore. The "Way North" is from Encore to Sahara. You don't want to walk around the way north, unlike the rest of the Strip it's empty and spread out. Most free parking is on the north end of the Strip, centralized free parking is rare and southern Strip parking is non-existent. 1. The Strat Casino The Strat offers free parking for both hotel guests and visitors. It's located at the way way north end of the Strip, or just north of the Strip depending on where you draw the line, and provides easy access to attractions like the SkyPod and thrill rides. Unfortunately, if you're not going to do something at the Strat there's not a reason to park there. There is no access to the rest of the Strip without a hike, and there are much closer free options. 2. Sahara Las Vegas The Sahara provides free self-parking and valet parking. It’s located at the way north end of the Strip and offers easy access to attractions like the Las Vegas Convention Center. Like the Strat it doesn't offer easy access to the rest of the Strip. 3. Circus Circus Circus Circus offers free self-parking and is located in the way north end of the Strip. It's a family-friendly option with attractions like the Adventuredome. You do have Resorts World, Fontainebleau, and the Convention Center in the area. 4. Fashion Show Mall The Fashion Show Mall offers free parking, and it’s on the north end of the Strip. It’s a great spot if you plan to shop or explore nearby attractions like the Venetian or Wynn. Treasure Island next door also has free parking. 5. Treasure Island (TI) Treasure Island provides free self-parking for visitors. It's on the north end of the Strip near the Fashion Show Mall, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, and the now closed Mirage. From Treasure Island to the more central Aria is a 40 minute walk, on a good day. 6. Casino Royale Just south of the Venetian is the Casino Royale. Tiny compared to the mega-resorts around it, but they have free parking. There are not a lot spots and they are located down an alley in the back. The Treasure Island parking garage is close by and probably more of a sure thing. 7. Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood While Planet Hollywood charges for parking, the Miracle Mile Shops offer free parking. The Miracle Mile Shops is in the central part of the Strip. It's a great spot for shopping and dining, right in the heart of the Strip. The Miracle Mile Shops is the most central spot with free parking on the Strip. 8 The Shops at Crystals Located in CityCenter, The Shops at Crystals offers complimentary valet parking for patrons. The valet parking is available from 10am to 11pm daily. The Shops are also in the central part of the Strip. This upscale shopping destination is near Aria, Vdara, and the Cosmopolitan. Kinda Free Parking on the Strip If you gamble, or visit Las Vegas often, you can get free parking from a casino's loyalty program. Every casino has some type of loyalty program. Most places have free parking as a perk if you reach their second level. If you have a MGM Mlife card or a Caesar's Rewards card you have most of the Strip covered for parking. Getting the points to get your card to the second level is definitely not free, but if your going to spend the money anyway you might as well get something out of it. Some casino's parking is free for the first few hours. Wynn and Encore are free for the first 3 hours, Fontainebleau for the first 4 hours. Not totally free, but if you plan on dinner or a show it's just about perfect. Don't Park Here We've seen the Travelodge, north of Circus Circus and across the street from Fontainebleau, on several free parking lists. It is free parking, but don't park there. Unlike most casino parking garages, the Travelodge is a small business with limited parking. Don't take up their customer's spaces. Circus Circus is free and Fontainebleau is free for the first hour, park at one of them. Tips for Free Parking on the Las Vegas Strip Check for Validation: Some casinos and restaurants offer parking validation if you dine or shop at their establishments. Always ask about validation to avoid parking fees. Keep Updated: Parking policies can change, so it's always a good idea to check the latest parking information on the official websites of these locations before your visit. Consider Off-Strip Locations: If you don't mind a bit of walking, consider parking at nearby off-strip locations or using the Las Vegas Monorail to get around. Casino Loyalty Programs: If you have a rewards cards at a casino there are usually free parking perks for anything over the base card. Check if your status scores you some free parking. If you get free parking at MGM or Caesar's you have half the Strip covered. By taking advantage of these free parking options, you can save money and enjoy all that the Las Vegas Strip has to offer without the hassle of parking fees.
