Per person, I should have put that at the end of the title, but it was getting long. A vacation in Las Vegas will be a one of a kind experience with memories that will last a lifetime. But, it can get a bit pricey. Especially if you have a whole family to pay for. From arcades to aquariums, museums to hiking, and board games to roller coasters, there is a lot more for families to do in Las Vegas that won’t break the bank. This is a list of some of the most fun, most unique, cheap things to do in Las Vegas. As you go through the list you might think, “these aren’t cheap.” Believe me, by Vegas standards these are a down right steal.

1. Pinball Hall of Fame
Location: 4925 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Hours: Mon – Thu 10am – 9pm, Fri & Sat 10am – 10pm, Sun 10am – 9pm
Cost: Free admission – cost to play most games is 25 cents
One place we always take anyone who comes to visit is the Pinball Hall of Fame, and no one has ever been disappointed. The Pinball Hall of Fame is a nostalgic and exciting destination for families looking to experience classic arcade fun. This unique museum is home to the world’s largest collection of pinball machines, featuring over 200 machines from the 1950s to the present day. Each machine is fully restored and operational, offering endless entertainment for visitors of all ages. They have some of the most unique pinball machines you have ever seen, and quite a few you will remember from your childhood.
Families can enjoy playing a wide variety of pinball games, from vintage classics to more modern titles, all at affordable prices (most games cost between $0.25 and $1 per play). The museum is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds go to local charities, making it a worthwhile visit. 2. Meepleville Board Game Café

Board game café? Yes, board game café. You pay an admission fee and you can play any of their over 2,600 board games. At the full service café you can buy food, drinks, snacks, and even alcohol. The $10 admission fee is for the whole day. With a library of over 2,000 board games, there is something for everyone, from classic favorites to the latest releases. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is always on hand to recommend games and explain rules, ensuring that everyone has a great time. Meepleville is also a board game store, so you can pick up some games to take home. Meepleville combines modern board games with the nostalgia of family time. A really unique place for families to spend time together.
3. Red Rock
Location: Mountain Springs, NV 89161 – West of Las Vegas – 20 to 30 minutes from the Strip
Hours: Everyday 8am – 5pm
Cost: $20 per carload (+ a $2 reservation fee)
Red Rock is a National Conservation Area west of Las Vegas with hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, rock climbing, and a 13 mile scenic drive. Red Rock has over 2 million visitors a year. There are several good reasons why. 1) It’s a very short drive from one of the most visited destination cities. 2) It’s absolutely gorgeous. The geography is stunning and otherworldly. It is so different from the rest of the Las Vegas valley. 3) You can climb on rocks. Climbing on rocks is awesome. Stop at the Visitor Center, it’s worth spending some time there before you get to the rock climbing. Like any exclusive club in Las Vegas, Red Rock is so busy you must have a reservation to enter, so get online before you go or you might not get in. If you already have a National Park pass you will only have to pay the $2 reservation fee.
4. Neon Museum
Location: 770 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Hours: Everyday 8:30am – midnight
Cost: Evening hours are $28 for adults, $14 for under 17, and free for under 6

If you’re staying in Las Vegas there is a 99% chance your hotel has a pool, but if it doesn’t this ones for you. There is no better way to spend a day with the kids than at a pool. You can relax in the water, they can wear themselves out. Perfect. Unlike some other hotel pools that are packed with party-goers, the M Resort offers a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of space to unwind. The main pool is huge, featuring a shallow area for kids and comfy lounge chairs for parents. There’s also a separate daybed and cabana area if you want to splurge for some extra shade. You’ll find poolside dining with a menu that caters to all ages, so no need to stress about picky eaters. Don’t fall for overpriced pool parties when you can have a laid-back day here. 7. Big Apple Roller Coaster
